Rotary Club Lunch Meeting

We meet as usual for lunch. After the meal Paul Keeley will speak to us about Trees. Paul is a member of Newcastle Gosforth Rotary Club and managing director of UK Registered Charity, Sustainable Global Gardens.

Sustainable Global Gardens (SGG) is a charity run by Rotarian Paul Keeley, Rotary Club of Newcastle Gosforth. The aim is to restore the forests around Mount Kilimanjaro by working with nearby farmers, schools and Rotary clubs. Deforestation contributes Kilimanjaro’s melting ice cap with disastrous environmental damage. SGG provides farmers and schoolchildren with seedlings to plant within farms and school grounds to reverse some of the environmental damage.
