Dinner - Presidential handover 2017-2018

On Thursday 13th July 2017 President Brian Johnson welcomed 25 Club Rotarians and prospective new member Alistair McLeod to this lunch time meeting which was held at the Gilvenbank Hotel, Glenrothes. 

On reception, this week were Murray Grubb who said grace and Peter May.

No apologies for absence were received.

As this was the Presidential handover today President Brian Johnson completed his last duty by handing over the Presidential Chain of office to incoming President Lindsay Roy and Senior Vice president elect Anne Sampson.

New President Lindsay Roy thanked immediate past President Brian Johnson for his year in office and awarded him many accolades and the high standards he had set during his year. 

Treasurer Geoff Sampson advised members that payment of some memberships were now outstanding.

Senior Vice President Anne Sampson hands over the role of Community chair to Wilna Roger.

As this was in part a business meeting the committee chairs spoke briefly about their forthcoming year.

This week’s meeting on Thursday 20th July 2017 will be a lunch time meeting to be held at the Gilvenbank Hotel. please meet 12.45pm for starting at 12.55pm On reception, will be Gerald Cameron and Peter May, when the speaker will be Mike Ward talking about his life in France.
