Club Meeting : YMCA Workshop

Thu, Jun 9th 2016 at 7:15 pm - 10:15 pm

Speakers: Russell Martin & Colin Young

Russell Martin & Colin Young (YMCA) with President Mike Baker

Russell & Colin explained the expansive role that YMCA Reading plays in meeting the needs of young and old in the Reading Community. From social housing, mother and baby units, apprenticeships, youth clubs, homeless football competitions and much, much more. They work on the front line filling a void created by reduced provision by councils for the most needy in Thames Valley.

Reading Abbey will be fundrasing with the Englefield Run on 28th August to help provide new and replacement tools for the YMCA workshop used with the Pupil Referral Unit.
