The Rotary Club of Abergavenny held their third CPR training course today (and the fourth tomorrow). The courses, being run by St John's Ambulance Service, are focusing on infant & baby CPR and care. The 3-4 hour course covers subjects such as resuscitation, choking, poisons and asthma and is fully funded by the Rotary Club through its 'Well-being Initiative'. The initiative was started last year with the objective of increasing health education in the town, we are also looking to purchase a number of defibrillators for use in the town over the next few months. If any groups/individuals are interested in attending a course, feel free to contact us through our Facebook page and will do the rest.
