UPDATE ON WHATS HAPPENING

The Rotary Club of Wisbech

PRESS RELEASE

September has seen two new events for this active club.

Firstly, 40 people gathered at Play 2 Day in Guyhirn.  Members from four fenland Rotary Clubs competed in a light hearted competition. People from Wisbech, March, Chatteris and Whittlesey battled to achieve top scores.

It is intended that a follow up night be staged with the top two clubs members battling it out to be Fenland Rotary Bowling Champions of 2015. The incredibly valuable Wooden Spoon Prize was won by Wisbech member Chris Mackett.

The second social event is an interesting visit to Maddingely Hall near Cambridge.  Members and guests will explore the magnificent gardens and the nearby military war cemetery.

Wisbech Rotary Club usually meet weekly at Mendis restaurant on the Old Market Place where Fun and Fellowship are essential parts of the meetings.

Next public event is the Harvest Supper to be held on Friday 2nd October at St Peters Church Hall. Tickets are £10 per person including supper and include an enjoyable produce and gift auction.
