Supporting Sylvia Keris

Walking the length of the Thames is no mean feat and we were pleased to offer Sylvia support as she passed through Teddington.

Rotarian Sylvia Keris has been walking the length of the Thames for End Polio Now and Guide Dogs and our club were very pleased to be able to support her with accomodation and transport to and from her Teddington stopping point last weekend.

Thanks to Rotarian David Lindsley for providing accomodation and other members of the club for turning out to support Sylvia as she arrived and giving her a good send off the next morning.

Sylvia completed her journey three days after we saw her off and we look forward to hearing how much her efforts raised for these two deserving charities.
