Railway Swing Band Concert Wednesday 27th April 2016

Wed, Apr 27th 2016 at 7:30 pm - 10:15 pm

Our annual concert with the Railway Swing Band

Railway Swing Band

The annual concert with the Railway Swing Band – a very popular event - will take place on Wednesday 27 April 2016 at 7:30pm.

This concert will again be staged in St George's Church.

Featuring the combined choirs of Deal Parochial and Northbourne Park Schools., who will be performing some works on their own and perhaps some joining the Railway Swing Band

The ticket price is £10.00.

A board is available for ticket requirements. We would be eternally grateful if you could take some to sell to friends, family, a club that you belong to, etc. Hint – several members are in a lodge, could you persude them to come? Perhaps your local church could take some tickets. The church is capable of holding 350 people; that would make a handsome amount of money for Rotary funds if we could fill it – with your help we can – if we all get proactive.

On Turesday 12 April, members of the Club (President Ian Dunker;ey, David Lister, Patrick Brown, Rob Walker and Marlene Burnham) attended a photo-shoot for EKM and met Joy Spencer (musical director of the choir at Deal Parochial School, together with three members of the school choir, who will be peforming with the Railway Swing Band at the concert on Wednesday evening 27 April. EKM will be publishing a feature article advertising our Railway Swing Band concert in the Deal edition of the newspaper this week

Tickets are available from Rtn Marlene Burnham (01304 372876) or Rtn Mike Baxter (01304 373796)  and Biggs Opticians
