The Rotary Club of Abergavenny were delighted to present the first of the first Sports Foundation Awards for 2015/2016 to Dylan Ruck

Dylan started training at the age of 5yrs with Abergavenny Martial Arts Club in Deri View School. About two years ago Dylan was selected to train with The Tredegar Devils. 
Dylan started competing when he was 6 years of age and has succeeded in becoming Welsh & British Champion twice. He entered his first European competition in 2014 and came away with Silver. 
In October 2015 Dylan was selected for Team Wales, competing in an ICO World Kick Boxing Championships event in Stuttgart, Germany. In this event, he managed to win a Bronze Medal. 
We wish Dylan the very best of success in achieving his ambitions in his chosen sport.

The Annual Steam Rally returned on 3rd and 4th June 2022 after a break of three years due to lockdown. The Rally is the main source of funds for the Rotary Club to donate to worthy causes via it's Charity the Abergavenny Rotary CIO.
