Mon, Aug 17th 2015 at 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm

1pm at the Monmouthshire Golf Club

Abergavenny Rotary are delighted to announce the creation of a Sports Club and Association Foundation Award.

If you’re a Monmouthshire sports club or association within a three mile radius of Abergavenny and believe you could benefit from a significant cash injection then the town’s Rotary club could help you achieve your goal.

Abergavenny Rotary has been a keen supporter of local sport for many a year and in the past has offered financial assistance to local rugby, football, cricket, tennis, cycling and petanque clubs.
Now it’s your turn.

Local Rotarians have allocated an annual budget of £2000 for the award. The exact value of the award given to each club or association will be dependent on the proposals received from selected winners. However, all winners will receive at least £200.
Proposals can be submitted by both new enterprises and well established clubs
Only proposals from Monmouthshire sports clubs and associations within a three miles radius of Abergavenny will be considered.

The proposal should explain-
How the Club or Association (C/A) supports the development of sports & fitness for all age groups
What the award will be used for
Current source of funding
Mission statement of the C/A
Sporting accolades of the C/A or targeted achievements.

Proposals will be reviewed by a Committee of Abergavenny Rotarians and the winners announced twice a year with two closing dates for submissions.
The decisions of the Committee will be final and not subject to review.

First closing date - 30/9/2015, Second closing date - 31/3/2016

All proposals should be submitted to Heritagexchange@btinternet.com
