Goosie Fair

All of Tavistock stops for Goosie Fair on the second Wednesday of October each year.  But the  main geese sale has moved up to the Cattle Market (open for the public to view on the day). But no geese in the town - so we borrow a breeding pair from a local helpful farmer and run a 'Guess the weight of both geese together' competition.  It's mainly so that children and adults can see the geese, but is fun and raises a bit of money for our Rotary Charities.  The geese seem to enjoy it too!
