The speaker at the Rotary Club of South Queensferry on Thursday 12th September was Amy Telford - national fundraiser for CHAS, the Children's Hospice Association Scotland. CHAS provides the only hospice services in Scotland for children and young people with life-shortening conditions for which there is no cure. Its two hospices, Rachel House in Kinross and Robin Hose in Balloch, are supplemented by CHAS at Home which offers home care even in the remotest parts of Scotland. The mission is to provide care, support and connections - the latter being particularly important when patients are making the transition from children's to adult services. This year is the 21st Birthday of CHAS. It will be celebrated with 21 themed fundraising events. Every day it costs
