Jill Purcell from St helena Hospice

Last December Halstead Rotary, club along with members of the business community and in conjunction with St Helena Hospice, put on a 'Special Christmas Event' for some special children in the Halstead community, see details here. 

At a recent meeting Jill Purcell from St Helena Hospice came to thank the club for putting on such a fantastic event and to tell us about the work of the hospice. 

Jill gave a very informative and interesting presentation. It was very enlightening and gave members a much better understanding of the caring and sensitive way in which the hospice works.
