Picnic on the Hill

Sun, Aug 18th 2013 at 12:00 am - 12:00 am

A repeat of the immensely successful event in 2012, but this time on the top of the Chilterns instead of in a valley.

Date: Sunday 18th August.

Time: 12.30 for 1.00pm

Venue: Longburrow Hall, Park Lane, Stokenchurch HP14 3TQ

Cost: Under 5s free,  age 6 - 15 £5,  age 16 - 99 £15,   100 + free (sight of pension book required).

Payment: on the day or beforehand. Ideally by cheque.

Logistics

Food to be provided: a Hog Roast, serving baps and apple sauce. Desserts will be kindly provided by Inner Wheel.

Please bring with you: Your own drinks and salad. Also cutlery, plates, drinking glasses, and chairs. Also gazebos and tables for the elegant diners, however we will have marquees and some tables already erected.

In the event of rain we will be able to use the Village Hall.

Entertainment and Competitions

We will be entertained by West Wycombe Brass Band.

Additional entertainment will be provided by ourselves, such as pitch and putt and other "garden games".

We anticipate some fierce competition, Rotaract having been requested to bring along the equipment required for the Rounders Challenge.

Raffle

We will have a raffle board in operations, tickets at £5. You may buy more than one ticket!

Who is Invited?

The event is open to all Members and Friends of RC of High Wycombe, together with family and friends. Last year we had just under 100 attending. We would like to achieve a similar attendance this year. Let's ensure that Rotary is fun.
