The Rotary Club of Duns held the local final of their Young Chef Competition on 16 January at Berwickshire High School. There were 14 entrants, with prizes awarded to all six local finalists. LateXtra! Duns winner takes area competition too.

The Rotary Club of Duns held the local final of their Young Chef Competition on 16 January at Berwickshire High School. Six finalists had qualified from an initial group of 14 entrants.
Each finalist was given 2 hours to prepare and cook a two course meal for 2 people. Their work was assessed by three judges Alan Turner (Black Bull, Duns), Drew Wilson (Fish
