Dear Friends,
I have just returned from the taping of the CNN Heroes show in Los Angeles. It was an incredible experience and it was great to meet lots of well known people who want to begin helping Mary's Meals.
It was also great to meet the other nine people who had been named this year's heroes, including Anuradha Koirala, the remarkable Nepalese woman who won the global vote for her incredible efforts to end child trafficking in her home country.
You can watch the show at 1am, 10am or 9pm on Friday the 26th on CNN International - the Mary's Meals film and our introduction by the Scottish actor Gerard Butler are on first! (You can also watch the film at this link http://edition.cnn.com/video/?
A huge thanks to all of you who voted for me or encouraged others to.
We didn't win the $100,000 dollar prize, but the much more important benefit of letting millions of new people around the world know about Mary's Meals is only just beginning. Please God, many more hungry children will start to receive Mary's Meals as a result.
Thank you for your incredible support, without which none of this would be happening.
Kind regards,
Magnus
