DUNS ROTARY CHARITY GOLF COMPETITION RAISES £3300

The ever-popular charity golf event tookplace again at the beautiful Duns golf course, but only after a fortnight's delay because of terrible weather.
Torrential rain on 11th August prevented the competition going ahead as originally planned but a successful event took place a fortnight later with excellent support from competitors and sponsors despite the unwanted delay.
With an excellent score of 89 points, the winners of the competition held last week, were 'Moyz Boyz' from Chirnside who received their trophy from Elizabeth Lamont wife of Duns Rotary
President Robert Lamont.
