Kids Out 2014

A group of 30 pupils from Springfield School, accompanied by teachers, helpers and Rotarians, enjoyed a fun packed day at Legoland organised by the Rotary club of Witney as part of the Rotary 'Kids Out' day.

Whether riding on the various white-knuckle rides or admiring the many buildings and models on show, all constructed entirely of Lego, everyone agreed they were having a great time.

The visit was arranged as part of 'Kids Out' which is delivered nationally and provides children with an experience that brings both fun and happiness into their lives.

The first Rotary Kids Out took place in 1990 and since then, nationally, up to 25,000 disadvantaged children have been taken on a fun day out every year.

Witney Rotary Club has supported the charity from it's early years and a portion of the club's fund-raising money is used for coach transport to Windsor and for small treats for each individual pupil taking part.

KidsOut is a childrens charity founded in 1990 and is the only charity in the UK dedicated to bringing fun and happiness into the lives of disadvantaged children.

The members of the Rotary Club of Witney are pleased to work in partnership with the Kids Out Charity. This annual visit is part of our contribution to the young people of Witney.

We also support the work of the Base 33 project which helps young adults to find order in their lives.
