A very successful evening raised Â£500 multiplyied by 3 from Bill Gates to £1500.

	President Bill presents Andrew Young from RC of Dewsbury with the Seat of Knowledge quiz trophy Mon Feb 27th.		Technology Tournament 2017. 8 Luddite Rotarians helped with the Inner 9 Tournamentat Dewsbury Rams Stadium 7 March.

	Pres Bill with councillor Gwen Laws the founder of Friends of Batley Station. Gwen spoke to the club 13th Mar		International committee fund raising Brass Band concert with Gawthorpe Brass 85

	Cut and burn morning at Oakwell Hall Country Park led by Rotarian Jim Pilkington		Roberts Magic Away Polio evening raised with the raffle £715, this sum multiplied by Bill Gates help brings the total raised to £2145.

Tour de Yorkshire passing through Birstall on Sunday 30th April.
Luddites helped trim the town and collected for Alzheimers Charity.


President Bill with Sara Hay club speaker from Dogs Trust with pet Cocoa.		Birstall Luddites and Heckmondwike RC sponsored Kids Out to Lightwater Valley. Children From Fairfield School with careers enjoyed the day. Rotarians helped on the day.Thanks to Tony and Helen for organising the day.

Jo Cox Great Get Together Day Birstall Luddites joined with St Peters Birstall in their fun day and picnic Get Together in and around their church on a very hot heatwave day. Thanks to Jeremy for organising the Bouncy Castle.		Sun 25th June Luddites gathered for President Bills End of Year BBQ. Held at Rotarians Margaret and Nigels home Batley
