Janette Kersey recieves the Paul Harris Award

The Paul Harris Fellowship, Rotary's highest award, was recently presented to Janette Kersey by Hungerford Rotary Club for her work in the community over the last 3 decades. There have been just 5 recipients of this prestigious awards given to non Rotarians in the Hungerford Community, over the last 19 years.

The award was given in recognition of her services to CHAIN, where she served as Chairman. For her time as an active Town Councillor, serving twice as Mayor in 1995 and 2002. For her work as Governor and later Chairman of Governors at Hungerford Primary School and for her loyal service over 25 years at the Hungerford Surgery.

The award was presented by Hungerford Rotarian Ron Rowland himself a former Chairman of Chain and a holder of the Paul Harris Fellowship
