Speaker. Sue Butterworth on West Berks Council's Project : Dementia, "Help in Hungerford"
The Dementia Project
Sue Butterworth, from West Berkshire Council, gave a presentation which raised awareness of both dementia
and the dementia friendly communities project for Hungerford and surrounding district.
It was a very interesting meeting and it brought home Sue's compassion and her
dedication to helping Dementia sufferers. Rotarian Eric's Smith has first hand
experience of the impact of Dementia in a family and his personal experiences,
which he recalled in the vote of thanks, gave the club an even greater
understanding of the condition and some insight into the way that he has coped
during difficult times.
