In 2001, Ashtead Rotary instituted two special awards, the purpose of which is to recognise outstanding voluntary service to the local community by members of it. Presentations are made each year at Ashtead Village Day and receive much local publicity. From 2016 there were three categories of award: volunteer individual, volunteer organisation and employed individual. All recipients are extremely well-deserving of the honour and Ashtead Rotary Club is proud to be associated with their success.
You may nominate, either on behalf of your organisation or as an individual, as many individual or group candidates as you like. A selection panel from Ashtead Rotary Club will make the final decision on the basis of the information supplied with the nomination. Any award is at the absolute discretion of the selection panel.

A number of exceptional nominations are received each year and unsuccessful nominations are not carried forward so if a nomination was unsuccessful in the past, please consider sending in updated particulars of the candidate.
