A member of Misbourne Matins Rotary, who is also a member of the Rotary Club of Seminyat in Bali, asked if Misbourne Matins could assist a local Orphanage in Bali as part of Misbourne Matins' international project funding. The Jodie O'Shea Orphanage is named in memory of Jodie who died in the Bali bombing of 2002 and caters for some 50 children between the ages of one and eighteen years.

More details of the Orphanage can be found at http://careforkidsbali.com/ where you can see the scope and activities that the Orphanage is involved in. One of their requirements was for a vehicle to transport the children to schools in the area and also to be used for activities such as educational trips.
Misbourne Matins undertook to try to provide such a vehicle and a 16 seater Kia Travello has been chosen at a cost of some £17000 in local currency and provided in 2010.
