About us

Welcome to Llantrisant Rotary Club website.

We hope you find it informative. We are a dual gender club and welcome new members.

Rotary is an international network of local Rotary Clubs. The purpose of Rotary is to raise money for a large variety of charitable causes while also having fun.

We raise money from events such as bucket collections outside large stores, and most of all, our annual Business Persons Lunch held on the first Friday in December.

Also in December we have our own Santa Sleigh which will be going around the locality during the evenings leading up to Christmas day. This is very popular with both children and adults.

The charities we raise money for are well-known and less well-known local, national and international charities. All have been scrutinised as having a good record of putting a high proportion of their income where it is supposed to go, with low overheads and staff payments.

On the social side we regularly visit restaurants, concerts and the theatre.

As a Rotarian, you are a member of an international organisation with clubs all over the world. There are two million members world-wide; in Britain there are three thousand clubs, with one hundred thousand members. As a Rotarian you can attend the meetings of any club in the world and will be welcomed.
