About us

LAMPETER ROTARY CLUB consists of a small group of men and women devoted to helping the local community to prosper and grow.  All work  in the club is undertaken on a voluntary basis.  Collections for local charities and Rotary causes are made around Christmas, but the prime objective of the club is for its members to serve the community through voluntary work in the Lampeter area. Over the years this has included delivering Meals on Wheels; arranging mock interviews in local schools; distributing gifts and entertainment to the local care home at Christmas, and assisting in town events such as the local Carnival; the Food Festival, and the Christmas Fare.  At an international level the club has been involved with collections for the world elimination of polio; providing water aid to drought regions and the provision of emergency survival boxes for disaster areas.  The club also has a strong social side with evening meals twice a month, together with talks/lectures and visits to industrial/cultural/environmental sites.

If you would like to join Rotary and help with our voluntary work in the community and at the international level please contact the Club using the Contact number.
