David has been invited, and we're hoping that his Parliamentary duties will allow him to attend. He will be talking on a non-political subject - the role of canals in wartime Britain.details
Stroud Rotary Community Awards
The aim of the Community Awards programme is to support organisations within the Stroud area with a small grant which will make a real difference. This is a programme with awards of up to a maximum of £500.details
Jump for Longfield
Mike Lambert, our Vice President, has just raised over £1000 for Longfield, by Sky Diving over the Cotswolds. We are pleased to report that he has returned to club meetings safe and well!!details

Stroud Rotary is a friendly club with a full calendar of meetings, events and activities. We are supporting local charities and organisations, for example through our Community Award Scheme, and international initiative such as the Spectacles for Sri Lanka project (click the 'FUTURE EVENTS' and 'COMPLETED' buttons below for a full list of future and past events).
We meet :
- On the first Monday of the month at 'The Hill' starting at 7:30 p.m.
- On the second Monday of the month at 'The Old Crown' starting at 12:30 p.m.
- On the third Monday of the month at 'The Hill' starting at 7:30 p.m.
- On the fourth Monday of the month we usuall organise a social event.

Our annual fireworks event - the night we set Stroud alight and raise thousands of pounds for charity.
