About us

Welcome to Rotary in Cheadle - a small club with BIG AMBITIONS

The Rotary Club of Cheadle & District (RCCD) has been active in the local community for over 77 years, providing service and support to the young and not-so-young, and helping the less fortunate both here at home and abroad.

We are a Rotary Club with an open door to any and all ideas which may assist in improving the life of an individual or group.

Our on-going projects include:

Tuesday Activity memory Group, lunch followed by a singer.

Wednesday Pub Drop-in (fortnightly) a social event for people with dementia and their Carers.

Thursday Memory Cafe (fortnightly) stimulating activities and friendly company for those  living with dementia   in our community and their Carers.

(for both of these projects we have the invaluable support of the Alzheimer's Society)

Raising funds this year for The Seashell Trust. www.seashelltrust.org.uk

Providing dictionaries for junior schools in the area.
