About us

We are a satellite Rotary Group formed in April 2017. The translated name Glannau Tegid means shore of the lake in English.
We are a growing group from Bala and the surrounding areas, committed to supporting our local community and looking at ways that we can benefit our local area.  It is a diverse group ranging in age 18 to 70+, Men and women of all occupations.

Our objectives are too work with organisations to benefit and support our community and to also be a social group to have fun and try new things.

As we are a new group we have already undertaken a coffee evening in aid of Hospice at Home and various raffles and cake stalls.

Our Carers project, along with Carers Outreach Gwynedd & Anglesey, begins this September and is every 2nd Monday of the month based at the White Lion Royal Hotel in Bala 2 till 4, this is for all Carers in the local Area.

We also have a MacMillan Coffee morning on 29th September at Canolfan Bro Tegid.
