Past President Allan Hillary congratulates our President for 2017-18 Rotarian Ron Sugdendetails
The Motto of Rotary is " Service Above Self" and The Rotary Club Of Idle & Greengates is proud to have been of service to the local, national and international community for over fifty years. The theme this year is "Making a Difference".( That is what we do for fun)
Members gather at the Dubrovnik Hotel on most Wednesday lunchtimes from 12;15 for a 12:30 meeting until 2:00 pm.Periodically the lunch meeting is cancelled for a " Scatter Week" during which members are encouraged to visit other clubs in the area. Some months a social evening event 7:00 for 7:30pm replaces the luncheon meeting.
At lunchtime we are served with soup followed by the meal of the day and coffee ( all at a very reasonable price thanks to the generosity of the Dubrovnik Hotel), followed by club business and on some weeks a speaker.
Rotarians volunteer their time, talents, professional skills and energies to improving the lives of people within their local community and those around the world.
iWe are a mixed gender club and If you would like to know more about us click on " Links and News " and select our Face Book. Also we would be glad to welcome you at one of our lunchtime meetings or social events, just click the Join Rotary icon or send a message to:-
