About us

WELCOME TO THE ROTARY

 CLUB

OF WENDOVER AND DISTRICT

Rotary is a world-wide organisation and your network can be as big or small as you wish. If you are travelling around the world you will find that you can visit the local Rotary club wherever you are. New and interesting people will be very willing to welcome you and share their experiences. Rotarians who have done this come back saying that they were greeted with kindness and found the experience to be very rewarding.

Our aim is to raise money for charitable causes, network with the  community and enjoy ourselves whilst doings so.

A full diary of our events is shown below in the "Happening Soon" section. We meet regularly at a local venue on the 1st. and 3rd. Mondays of the month at 7pm. Generally, for our first meeting we invite a local speaker to talk on a topic of interest, in conjunction with a meal. The second meeting is a Business session when we review our fund-raising activities.

Our club usually puts on three major events each year. These vary from the annual Let The Chilterns Sing concert to a Quiz Night to a Teddy Bears' Picnic. These are occasions when we work together as a Team to ensure that the events are a success.

Each year we select a different charity to be the main recipient of the money we raise at our events. This year the chosen charity is Parkinson's UK, but smaller amounts may be given to other good causes, as we see needs arising.

We are always looking for like-minded people to join us to make a contribution to our local community, raise money for good causes, while networking and enjoying themselves.

Our main supported charity this Rotary year is:
