About Chelmsford Rivermead Rotary Club

Chelmsford Rivermead is a breakfast club which meets at The Secret Garden at Writtle Road Nurseries,Chelmsford CM1 3BL on Wednesday mornings at 7.15 am, finishing by 8.30 am,  The Club received it's charter in March 2004.

The J's Hospice

The J's Hospice charity improves the lives of young adults (aged 16-40) with life limiting and life threatening conditions and their families across Essex. http://www.thejshospice.org.uk/ 

J's provide enhanced care including tailored specialist nursing, respite, advice and emotional care as well as end of life care and bereavement support – in the comfort and security of their own homes. Thay help the young adults to live their lives to the fullest, however short this may be.

 Our Polio  Bear went Traveling

At our handover meeting on 29th June 2016 outgoing President Mabel Butcher presented Rtn Robert Cappin, a trustee of City of Chelmsford Mencap, with a cheque for £534 raised at a party evening held to celebrate Her Majesty's 90th Birthday.   

Our breakfast meeting on July 13th saw the club induct 5 new members, with more new members on the way!
