About us

Casterbridge at District Conference Bristol

SERVICE ABOVE SELF

The Rotary Club of Dorchester Casterbridge is pleased to be working in partnership with small groups and organisations to support their fundraising efforts.  Since this Draw was started by the Dorchester Rotary Club in 2004 it has distributed over £110,000 to local good causes and we are committed (with your help) to continuing the legacy of our founder club which closed in December 2018.

There are 1.2 million Rotarians in the world and we are all working to uphold the principle of our simple motto.

Whether we are helping in a worldwide campaign to eradicate polio or providing Shelter Boxes following a disaster or, locally, in our own town of Dorchester, supporting a charitable group (or planting bulbs by the roadside!), our aim is to make life better whenever we can, and enjoy ourselves while we do it.

Would YOU like to help us?

Becoming a Rotarian is the start of a different way of life with a new circle of friends and ambitions.

Rotarians come from all walks of life but they will have normally become leaders in their chosen field so that their expertise and experience will benefit the club and help it to achieve its aims.

Do come and meet us socially or help at our next event to get to know us and find out more about what being a Rotarian means.

We will look forward to hearing from you.
