Contac    Our Rotary Club is made up of 21 male and female members. We meet weekly on a Monday evening at the Belstead Brook Hotel Ipswich. Our evening begins with a meal, giving members time to enjoy good food and fellowship. We then may have a speaker, which could be related to a Rotary initiative, the work of a local or national charity, a vocational talk  or something of local or national interest. We have some regular evenings throughout the year where we enjoy meeting up with other Rotary Clubs. We have evenings when we invite our partners to join us. Approximately every six weeks we hold a business meeting, where each committee will discuss their ideas and plans with the club.

Of course then we have outside visits to a number of local venues, for example we have visited the Felixstowe museum, Community Garden Project, Christchurch Mansion and enjoyed a curry evening whilst learning about the Indian culture.

We always have, either a local, national or International project on the go; that may involve just a few members, the whole club or we may join force with another Rotary Club or organisation. The projects vary hugely from either fundraising to support a project, hands on task or assisting an existing project run by third party.

Rotary is an international organisation that we are all proud to be part of, we have the opportunity to participate in many of the large International projects such as End Polio Now. Water Aid etc. We are then part of District 1080 which has approximately 76 clubs across the nearby counties where once again there are many opportunities to either take part in initiatives as an individual member or as a whole club.

There really is no end to the opportunities that Rotary can offer you- the choice is yours. Stay just involved with the club, or at District or International level.

The most important aspect of being a Rotarian means that you have the chance

to make a difference to many people's life.

Our Motto is:- Service Above Self
