Meet the President 2018/19
"Sue and I have been married for over 50 years and we celebrated our Golden Wedding Anniversary last year. We have three children, all with their own families, and we have six grandchildren. We moved to Haywards Heath in 1979 and I joined Rotary in 1992. I have done a number of roles in Cuckfield and Lindfeld Club and I was Secretary for the last 3 years. I am pleased to be invited to take on the Presidency this year.
We are a strong Club and currently have 45 members, both men and women, of all ages. We support the local community, especially young people, and we also carry out international projects. The atmosphere at our meetings is lively and we have great fun and enjoy warm friendships whilst supporting Rotary, which is to encourage and foster the ideal of service as a basis of worthy enterprise.
We meet weekly and are always looking for new members. If you wish to put something back into the community, we can offer you an enjoyable and stimulating way of doing so. You will be made very welcome if you wish to attend one of our meetings."
