We are a new, informal evening club, with the focus on friendship and volunteering in the community, rather than meals. Our members come from a wide area around Takeley, e.g Bishops Stortford, Great Dunmow, Hatfield Broad Oak and Stebbing.
Our aims:
We meet fortnightly on a Wednesday evening at 8 p.m. at Little Canfield Community Hall to chat, have some light refreshments and plan our programmes. Sometimes we have an interesting speaker, occasionally we go out and have fun, such as Crazy Golf or Tenpin Bowling.
We are developing some regular community projects such as
We volunteer to help local events such as Firework night, running events, fetes, warm spaces, Santa rounds.
