Welcome to the Rotary Club of Wirksworth
The Rotary Club of Wirksworth was chartered in July 1948 and currently has 27 members. We meet on Thursdays at 7pm at Waltham House, St John’s Street, Wirksworth, Derbyshire DE4 4DT. There is normally a speaker at each meeting covering a wide range of interesting topics, with the exception of the first Thursday of each month when we have a Business Meeting.
The Club is very active helping local good causes in Wirksworth and the surrounding area, and each year raises thousands of pounds for the benefit of the local community, as well as in support of wider life-changing major projects here in the UK and internationally.
If you would like to know more about the Club and our activities, please look at the 'what we do' pages from the menu above. We welcome new members, both men and women, and would be very pleased to hear from you. Please use the Contact link at the top the page to get in touch.
