Our normal meeting place is The Folke Golf Club, which is situated at Folke lane Alweston just 200m south of the A3030. We normally meet Tuesdays 6.00 for 6-30pm.
Our primary purpose is to serve the community often by raising funds for charity. The Presidents office lasts one year.
The Rotary Club of Sherborne has a long established Memorial Fund administered by Trustees appointed from the membership of the Club.
The purpose of the Fund is to advance the education of persons between the ages of 16 and 28 years of age, residing or working in the Sherborne area. Financial support, as the Trustees see fit, is given for training experience, adventure training or further studies or provision of equipment for the benefit of other charitable organisations involved in similar educational/training experience for persons as described above.
