Rotary Club of Ormskirk - welcome! Please scroll/swipe down through this page to find out more about us, in addition to the pages linked in the menu, top-left.
The iconic Parish Church at the heart of Ormskirk is only 5 minutes walk from the main meeting place of The Rotary Club of Ormskirk at O'Brien's Tea Rooms.
Ormskirk is a market town 11 miles north of Liverpool in West Lancashire. The surrounding countryside is mostly dominated by farming and the Club, which was inaugurated in 1936, covers the Ormskirk, Burscough, Parbold & Lathom areas.
We have an excellent record in local community and international service. This year, thanks to public generosity, we have raised funds to buy many Shelterboxes and Aquaboxes to assist International Relief efforts following natural disasters. In addition we have provided funds to mitigate the effects of flooding in both Lancashire and Cumbria.
We are an active Club, meeting at O'Brien's Tea Rooms in Ormskirk at lunchtime on Tuesdays. We have a current membership of over 20 men & women enjoying a wide programme of service and social activites. If you would like to learn more about the Rotary ideal please contact us as new members are always welcome.
Be part of a global network of volunteers, trying to make the world a better place. Please also see the 'links & news' page for information from the local district and live feeds from Rotary International and Rotary International in GB&I.
