Tug of War

Up until 1920 Tug of War was an Olympic sport and origins are unknown but evidence found in Egypt, India, Myanmar and Cambodia indicates widespread existence of the sport. 

Watch the Young Farmers, Rugby Club, Town Council and local pubs contest for the coveted Rotary Shield.

A children’s event will also take place.
