Backhouse Park clean up

In commemoration of the World Rotaract Week, the Rotaract Club of the University of Sunderland partnered with the International Community of Organisations in Sunderland (ICOS) to carry out a cleanup in Backhouse Park.

During the volunteer activity, the team worked together to perform maintenance and cleanup tasks in the park. Volunteers picked up litter around the park. We also collected leaves and garden debris, and transported the waste to designated locations to create a temporary pathway

The activity helped improve the cleanliness and appearance of the park while encouraging teamwork and community engagement.
