Fellowship Weekend - Wych Cross

One night stay with outings on 29th May plus supper and breakfast followed by walk with Pub Lunch


Fellowship weekend hits all the heights

This year we organised a one night stay at the Roebuck, Wych Cross in the Ashdown Forest. On Friday there were a variety of activities including a walk, a visit to Sheffield Park Garden and golf at North Down golf course. At the end of the day we all gathered at our accommodation at the Roebuck and enjoyed pre-dinner drinks before heading into supper.

After a healthy breakfast we gathered together for a walk from Wych Cross down to Forest Row through the delightful Ashdown Forest taking in a wide variety of scenery including the famous Winnie the Pooh bridge and other related locations.

The weather remained hot and sunny throughout and the refreshing lunch at the pub in Forest Row was most welcome.

A very successful event and a good opportunity for the club to relax and enjoy the wonderful environment around us in East Sussex.

Congradulations to the Social Team for their plannning and choices made to bring this event about.
