Secretary Clive Richardson Awarded Paul Harris Fellowship Sapphire

Clive Richardson was awarded this honour for his service over many years in leading club roles. Pictured Joe Proops handing sapphire medal to Clive Richardson.


Presentation was made at Rotary Lunch at Cuddington Golf Club.

Clive was presented with The Sapphire award on 19th February 2026 for exceptional service during his 12 year membership in Epsom Rotary Club, this is one of  the highest Rotary Awards. During his membership he has held the position of President on 2 occasions - 2016 - 2017 and again 2020 - 2021.  He was also awarded the Paul Harris award in 2019.  

Clive has served on most committees the most challenging position was that of Club Secretary. Without his enthusiasm and technical knowledge the Club would have floundered during the COVID years.  

In addition to his commitment to many Committees he was also a leading person in the following events  -  Epsom Play House, Hook Arena fun day and party in Rosebery Park.
