Choosing Wisely for RYLA


Each year when making our selection
From Years 11and12 student collection
Remember what’s rarer than ability
Is the ability to recognise ability.

 

So with this in mind we asked “Who’d like to go?”
We explained what it was that they needed to know.
“If you wish to apply there’s a letter to post
Then it’s for us to decide who’s deserving it most?”

 

Applications galore! “Oh please pick me
Sounds like fun and it’s going to be free!”
Wait a minute that’s the wrong credential
RYLA provides for unlocking potential.

 

What we search for when making our choice
Is not just those with the loudest voice
The persons who’ll most likely succeed
Are the ones with the greatest potential to lead!

 

And so it is after much reflection

That those most deserving our considered election
This years’ candidates going to RYLA
Are Colfox students Eddie and Ayla!
