Eye Camps in India
We recently helped fund two further eye camps (clinics) in Sirohi , India
This is a continuation of a long standing project that was initiated by one of our former members , the late Mr Satish Bhargava. We make regular annual donations to this cause and In addition to this Satish's widow Sandra adds a generous contribution . Last year the club recognised Sandra as a Paul Harris Fellow in recognition of her continuing support . The latest eye camps were in Sirohi in Northern Rajasthan .Over the two days over 430 patients were seen , 48 of these were suitable for cataract operations , many others were fitted with spectacles .
