Rotary Children's Fun Day
Wed, Jun 10th 2026 at 10:00 am - 12:00 pm
Every year we take a group of children to the beach followed by lunch and entertainment. This is one of the most rewarding days on our calendar.
The Rotary Children's Fun Day is a significant initiative by Rotary International in Great Britain and Ireland, supported by Kids in Mind, aimed at providing positive experiences for vulnerable and disadvantaged children. The event, scheduled for June 11, 2025, will bring joy to over 25,000 children from various backgrounds, offering them a day of fun and adventure at over 100 venues across the UK. Rotary clubs across the country will work tirelessly to make this day possible, with nearly 2,500 Rotarians volunteering their time. The event is more than just a day out; it's a lifeline for many of the UK's most vulnerable children, helping to build happier, healthier childhoods.
In Guernsey we have always collaborated with Les Rondins School. This year we will be taking a class of children (and their teachers) for a day out on the beach at Vazon, lunch at Crabby Jacks followed by children's entertainment.
