A kind message from the staff of Crossroad Care: -
We are saying an enormous thank you to Kew Gardens Rotary for giving personalised festive food hampers to all the children and young people with special educational needs who attended our fantastic Saturday Club Christmas party over the weekend [12th December].
The party also featured an end of year show where the children and young people gave a performance that included street dance and karate. And a very special guest made an appearance too — Santa turned up to give presents to the children.
Julie Da Costa, Crossroads Care CEO, who attended said: ‘What a wonderful and joyful event it was – made even more special by the Rotary Club of Kew Gardens who came along to give the children hugely appreciated hampers — a tradition now in its sixth year.
‘We really couldn’t be more grateful for the Rotary Club's continued and most generous support for Crossroads, particularly at a time when the families that we support are feeling the financial strain of the festive season.’
Suzanne Sheffer, from the Rotary Club of Kew Gardens, said: -
We all so enjoyed the concert – it was a fantastically happy event. And we are absolutely delighted to once again be able to create special Christmas hampers for the children and families supported by Crossroads Care.’
