Ukraine Fire engines book published!

You may remember the shiny red fire engine on display back in March & April when we collected to raise funds to send ex-Norfolk fire engines to Ukraine, a project we got involved with through our local contacts in Norfolk and the charity Actions Beyond Words. 

Thanks to the generosity of local people we raised enough to send 3 fire engines and medical aid to Ukraine. They were delivered in May and July and the video here is a thank you to our Club and the generosity of the people of Diss and district . It also tells of the book which has recently been published about the story of collaboration  nd support to get the fire engines where they are needed and already saving lives. The book tells the story in both English and Ukrainian for children and Diss & District Rotary Club will soon be distributing some of these books to local schools and libraries.
