ABP Half Marathon

The ABP  Half Marathon was held on Sunday 21^st September. As before we were acting as Marshalls  on the Tetney part of the course. 

We assembled at 8am in the Cleethorpes Leisure Centre to collect a high viz vest. A selction of  nibbles,fruit,water and a warm drink were on offer.

After the brieing we set off for our respective marshalling points.The race (10k set off at 10am) and the half marathon at 10.30 am. 

I was at the mid point of the run and the first man came through after 35/40 minutes! At my location there was  a water station  and a crowd of onlookers who cheered on the runners.

It was a sunny day but  cold in the shade,
