Gold award for Thornton in Bloom

We were delighted to receive this message from Thornton in Bloom and to have been able to assist them in achieving this gold award.

"With the help of Bradford West Rotary, Thornton entered Yorkshire in Bloom and achieved the top award with a gold certificate. The competition is part of Royal Horticultural Society’s Britain in Bloom that assesses entries on three main criteria: horticultural, environment and community. Rotary members supported one of our key projects this year by helping to plant 420 trees to form a nature friendly hedge on the recreation ground thus supporting our score for the environment aspect of the competition."
