Bendrigg Lodge Update

On Monday 15 September, Kendal Rotary welcomed Lizzie Feltoe, the fund raising officer from the Bendrigg Trust.  She acknowledged the tremendous support the Club has given Bendrigg over the year - a canoe, a donation to the new Sensory Room, and the tree planting amongst other help.  Lizzie then talked about the Trust's future ambitions. They include more outdoor facilities on site. She acknowledged how much harder it is to raise funds to new projects but also for ongoing costs including maintenance.  The overheads have increased dramatically following the Chancellor's budget.
