Garden Party

President Mike’s garden party was held in the garden of Ludborough Manor (courtesy of Mr and Mrs John Dixon).

A  Tent had been erected by members of the club and tables prepared, after canapes and a fizzy drink we assembled for the meal .

Simon  had prepared and cooked  salmon and chicken (the latter on the BBQ)with Gary.’s assistance.

Unlike previous years members were asked to provide a variety of salads or deserts.An excellent idea and was very successful ,it looked delicious,with a wide choice .  Wine and water was available on the tables.

The choice of deserts was also excellent and was followed by tea or coffee.

The weather was kind it not being  too hot and it was a very peasant gathering

Thank you to President and his wife Ann for organising the event and not forgetting Roger. Thanks to the Dixon's for loan of the garden .which was very interesting.

Especial thanks to Simon( not forgetting Gary ) for preparing and coking the meat dishes and to everybody else who had brought salads or desert.
